THINKING outside THE CAGE

Animal Friends’ newspaper is printed and mailed courtesy of our sponsor,

Ain’t Proud Beg! From emotional, heart-tugging stories to cute blind date ads – when it comes to finding adopters for our homeless animals, anything goes! We’ll admit that we’ve certainly come up with some pretty wild ideas to entice potential adopters to check us out, and we won’t be afraid to use a few more if we need to! But then it dawned on us. website – in order for their wonderful personalities to truly shine through, they need to get up close and personal with people! So, we’re getting our residents out of their kennels and offering up a menu of interactive animal-centered events with the goal of finding them their forever homes. Yep, you got it…we’re literally thinking outside the cage! Story continued on page 2...

Most importantly, Animal Friends is leading the way towards ending pet overpopulation in western Pennsylvania through comprehensive, community-wide spay/neuter programming. Animal Friends is supported by donors, volunteers and a staff dedicated to ensuring the well being of companion animals, while ending overpopulation, abuse and unwarranted euthanasia.
