E M I N E N T Inspired from the 1970’s, the shoot is about the women with freedom and power to be independent enough to lead their own life.
GODDESS OF POWER
The shoot is about the most powerful Goddess of the Universe in Hindu culture, The Kali ,who is the greatest symbol of women with power and how wisely she uses her power for engourage good and to eliminate the evil from the world.
M U L T I F A RIO US The shoot is been inspired from how multitasking a women is , she handles work, home,goes out for events and also grows up a baby. The al-rounder and powerful women.

INTRODUCTION The upper classes were the first to identity themselves on th battlefield, by means of heraldry. As Armour disappeared, identification of friend and foe became problematic. It broke down badly in the English Civil War of the seventeenth century. Since then uniform has not just been functional. It carries identification and display element as well. Military uniforms have profoundly influenced everyday fashion. Taking the practicality for everyday fashion , the project is an amalgamation of function and activewear. The project is about redefining uniform’s details and merging it with contrasting elements, making it more feminine and user friendly for day-to-day activities. “It’s functional enough that a working woman can wear it but also be hip”

CONCEPT BRIEF Many popular fashion designers have come up with their own versions and interpretations of clothing articles off the military . The colors, patterns and design concepts of military clothes has been a treasured inspiration and subject of many icons. Military clothing has been in fashion for decades and will still go on to turn into an inspiration for many “Military clothes are a part of the fashion vernacular now.� Marc Jacobs designers thus and so they can be easily incorporated and paired with many clothing articles and designs. The project is more than the direct interpretation of the military clothing. It is about softening the androgyny look inspired form military uniforms. It shows the process of manipulating the tough details from the military uniforms into a softer details for a feminine look. Though the collection has an influence of functionality of the uniforms and has been inspired by the activeness of the uniform, the main lime light is on creating a sustainable ensemble. While researching on active-wear, knits came into being and while going through all the knit an idea of upgrading knit came into the mind. As fast fashion is eating up all our resources at a great speed,something needs to done to what we already have and not keeping producing new as most of the garments land-up in landfill.
FINAL COLLECTION
The concept has been influenced by the functionality of military uniforms and inspired by the active-wear that the uniforms are. The collection is an active-wear specially designed for dayto-day activities and is a sustainable design as it has been made by upgrading old woolen sweater. Taking in mind the active-wear and sustainable design, the collection has been designed in a manner that it reflects sporty yet sustainable look. The collection is a Spring/Summer collection , having all the eye-pleasing pastels .
