Set amidst the husling city of CHennai, the building sets out tobe a strong statement to contemporary interiors in workspace. The expansive triple height atrium space boasts the brand identity to the client and customers. The design intends to speak out loudly of its architecture as well as company prof ile through digital and aesthetical mediums. In keeping up with the client quotient to connect to nature and the city’s life, the Cafeteria design stitches work and life with a cup of coffee! For those seeking harmony between work and leisure the design intends to bring in a toast to flexible working space. WAYCOOL Type: Workspace Area:10000sqft Location: Chennai Helping Farmers grow with OUTGROW And come together To reimagine your food supply chain Designing an office close to Farmlands, Landscape and Nature. The space intends to bring in the raw textures of Materials, Organic and dynamic forms and a spacious feeling within the working environment.

KUEHNE+NAGEL Type: Workspace Area:10000sqft Location: Chennai Kuehne+Nagel, a global transport and logistics company based in Schindellegi, Switzerland put their first step in India, Chennai with a “Futuristic office” and a timeless design that would reflect the firm’s global reach and strengthen their industry value. For over 200 employees, the finished space delivers a modern environment encouraging a more collaborative, open and unified work culture. With the design style and meticulous detailing and perfection, the project followed in other regions way after this. SHELL Type: Cafeteria Area:20000sqft Location: Chennai Shell cafeteria in chennai, an open floor culinary space breathes new life of tamilnadu cultural and traditional experience, creating a place for employees to pause and enjoy the dining experience. With elements like sea shell, traditional kanjivaram sari pattern light fixtures, beachside view graphics, local street-market look, the design shapes the interior with a vibrant local taste. UNIFI CAPITAL Type: Workspace Area:5000sqft Location: Chennai
Unifi Capital is a vibrant and ever-growing Fin-Tech company that required a transformation of their new office space into an environment which would resemble more of a home than an office – the anti-office. The client wanted a space that would not only function as a working office but would also give everyone a space to relax, come together and playfull workculture. The central space had a table tennis as a collaborative element. Note: Design development, Client meeting presenttions and Design execution on site was my core responsibility.
GLOBAL INFOCITY Type: Lobby Area:25,000sqft Location: Chennai Understanding the core characteristics and features of the element/concept and developing it into a tangible-intangible spatial experience was the main role of this project. There were 5 lobbies wherein each was designed with elements of biophila and further transforming the space into a experience. Shapes/Shadows/ Moods/ Reflections/ Transparency etc were some of the key aspects of the design. Jali (Screen) was taken as a highlighting element to express the space.

SKOOTR Type:
Co-working Area:1,50,000sqft Location: Chennai Design: Spacematrix Designs Skootr, a new setup in Delhi, wanted to design an unconventional co-working design setup spread into 4 floors with an organic and dynamic, free-flowing space which allows different communities to collaborate and enhance a diverse workculture. Infinity curve as a concept, the space opens up infinite/multiple pockets of collaboration and styles of working.

Caterpillar, world’s largest equipment manufacturer, wanted a design that reflects their industry standards and makes it stand out truly enhance their new workplace, with a “wow-design”. The brief therefore revolved around creating a unique and modern space, which would also be sympathetic to the company’s values and industrial finish. Sustainability, innovation and co-creation were three of their project cornerstones.
The design opens up the posibility of a dynamic form in the linear built setup increasing the headcount which was hence shortlisted by the clients for its design approach among top 2 other Design giants.

SKOOTR Type: Co-Working Space Area:35,000sqft Location: Chennai Skootr coworking office in Chennai is the landscape for the future of work, a space-age inspired environment leaving members to define their own 9-to5 experience. This co-working space allows different companies to take over the space over a defined tenure and performs as an individual local hub. The design spread out in a radial form with a playfull co-work and flexible spatial approach . Type: Workspace Area:1,00,000sqft Location: Chennai Design: Spacematrix Designs Prodapt, a global provider of leading innovative network intelligence and security solutions for service providers and enterprises worldwide, wanted to design a client oriented design space to showcase their value, a grandeur space and a wow experience to the clients. The space showcased “Village” concept with workstations organized into neighborhoods of about 12-16 cluster, separated by screens and an array of collaborative spaces. The triple height volume binded the experience between all other floors.

Type: Workspace Area:Location: Bangalore Design: Spacematrix Designs Autodesk, bangalore has their C&I vendor based in Chennai, for which we co-ordinated on the design-constructiondetailing and site reports. With factory finished models, observation, modifications and designing were key aspects of the work.

The Design brief was to design a an office space for Entertainment studio with a transparent, fun studio. The Proposed design intends to have a fun and playfull space for employees with flexible seating arrangement and changing landscape of interior spaces. The concept is a Mesh partition/screen divisions with Mediaentertainment posters boards on the Meshwall which acts like partitions and also adds to the fun-culture of Entertainment studio.

Design thinking and design developement. The Design shell is a a 4 layered skin for water storage, Insulation, Roofing system. The space includes a portable WC, traditional chimney system, living space, bedroom and Wash. The space is design for Residents of Kutch District for Saltpan workers to shift homes at various locations.
ASPINWALL HOUSE DESIGN INTENT: The project is an adaptive reuse of Aspinwall House, Kochi, a house transformed into an Exhibition centre of Artwork, dance, drama and architecture. Having f ramed out the existing age old buildform, the refurb layers a new function and design to the space. Arched windows were highlighted using painted glass wall arched windows, a straight corridor was accentuated with seating and outdoor landscaping folliage. The design was presented to the curator of the art exhibition and was well appreciated for the thought process and design ideas. The design was in detailed with the natural colour palette, local materials, simpler joineries and a bold outlook to the spaces. “To provide meaningful architecture is not to parody history but to articulate it.” -Daniel Libeskind
THE POD DESIGN INTENT: The Pod was an experimental structure built in an atrium space having a f ish-like conf iguration catering to the visually impaired. The structure, made out of corian is a parametric form of design with cross locking technique. MY ROLE: Concept design, Design detailing, prototyping, Team lead for design and structure building.

LO B BY D E S I G N DESIGN INTENT: Thelobby space was designed for Citibank, Singapore. The concept of Lotus blooming on the floating surface of water was thought through for the design developement. The dynamic, f ree flowing form, with the use of crystall mirror reflective ceiling was use to give the expanse efffect in the space.
