The little donkey with purple hair and her quest for a friend

One day, in the large Drawing-forest, a little donkey with purple hair walked around, looking for a friend.

The little donkey passed a brown bush covered in astonished eyes, staring at her. They had never before seen a donkey, especially one with purple hair!

“Would one of you be my friend?” the little donkey asked. “We’re all friends with each other” the bush answered.

A little further was a really big and scary monster. He saw the little donkey carefully coming closer by, “Hmmm.. that looks tasty” he thought to himself.

“Would you like to be my friend?” the little donkey asked. The monster roared “GRRR” and opened his huge mouth, showing his sharp teeth. The little donkey ran away scared.

On her way, the little donkey came across something really strange. Behind a little bush, there was a really big octopus hiding.

“Why are you hiding?” the little donkey asked. “Because I don’t want to stand out”, said the shy octopus. “Do you want to be my friend?” the little donkey asked. “I bet I’ll have to leave this bush? I dare not.” the little donkey walked on.

Then the little donkey met a bird. “Do you want to be my friend?” the little donkey asked. “I already have a friend and we’re playing hide and seek.” said the bird “Have you seen him? I’ve been looking for an hour!”

The little donkey saw the other bird, but said nothing.

The little donkey went on and came across a big pond. In it was a really big, red and hairy beast. “Do you want to be my friend?” the little donkey asked. “Sure!” said the really big, red and hairy beast “can you swim?” he asked. “No” the little donkey responded sadly. “That’s really a shame! You’re missing out on a lot of beautiful things.” really big, red and hairy beast and dove under.

After the pond the little donkey met another little bird. It looked a bit sad.

“Would you be my friend?” the little donkey asked. “Than, would you be my friend?” the little bird asked. “I can’t fly and all the other birds make fun of me!” “I can’t fly either” the little donkey answered.

The little bird and the little donkey played all day. And the day after that, and the day after that and they stayed best friends forever.
