MESSAGES

FROM YOUR EXECUTIVE BOARD

4

I'm Annie Nguyen, and I will proudly be serving as your upcoming Bulletin Editor for the 20212022 term! There is so much in store for us Monsters this upcoming year, and I can't wait to be able to share it with you all. Some of my favorite memories from this year include our after-meeting socials and the DCMs. These opportunities really helped me feel closer to the Key Club community, even if we are not physically with each other. Hopefully things will lighten up by next year and we can all meet one

PRESIDENT

What's Poppin' FRKC! My name is Sophia Wang, I am so excited to serve you all as your next Key Club President! Nevertheless, As we come to the end of this year, let us thank the board members for their great effort, work, and time they’ve dedicated to Franklin’s Key Club. In the past year, most of us were all in a state of confusion and anxious of what our future held. Despite the unknown, the board members took lead and established a lasting legacy that made huge impacts on our home club. I also want to thank all you Key Clubbers for continuing to serve and strengthen our community. Your helping hands have truly blessed us, as well as those that were helpless and needed support during such disoriented times. As we prepare for a new year of improvement and greatness, I hope that you guys are all excited to take on another year of great spirit and leadership. The new board has so much in store, and we simply cannot wait to create new memories that will hopefully become highlights of your journey as a Key Clubber!

My name is Katelynn Evans, and I am ecstatic to serve as your Vice President for the 2021-2022 term. In the last term, I’ve had an amazing experience as an administrative assistant working alongside the past officers (WHO WERE SO AMAZING BTW). Continuing their legacy with this new term, the other board officers and I have been working super hard for our club to thrive and achieve our goals! We hope you gain more experiences with serving the community and bonding with other members, as well as expand your knowledge about key club :) With whatever the future has in store for us, I am positive that our club’s resiliency and determination will enable great achievement,

VICE PRESIDENT

HEYY MONSTERS!

fondful memories, and continued service. I really hope we can meet in person for the next school year, but if not, we all can continue serving through at-home service projects! I’m looking forward to working with our future extended board and all of you reading this. Again, I am super grateful to serve for you all, and let’s make this year unforgettable!!

SECRETARY

“I’m Karisse Maceda, serving as the FRKC 2021-2022 term’s secretary! Currently, I am a freshman with big hopes for this upcoming term. Working alongside the rest of the board as well as our members, I hope to have more students at Franklin join our club while also making our meetings more inviting. I will continue the great organization that our past secretary, Kathina, has already established to ensure that our club stays on track and runs smoothly. I’m not sure what the upcoming term has in store for us but I can assure you that I, as well as the rest of the board, will bring light to whatever comes our way. I can’t wait to work with you all!”

- Karisse Maceda

TREASURER

Hey monsters! My name is Brandon Do and this is my third year as a Key Club member. Throughout my junior year I have been increasingly involved in Key Club and I hope to stay consistent with participation. I've had the amazing opportunity to serve our club as social media head where I've gained much experience and I am thrilled to serve you all as treasurer for the next term. I, along with other board members will put forth our best efforts towards Key Club to create an amazing experience for everyone. As treasurer, I hope to raise a generous amount of funds not only for our club, but also for charities to facilitate tighter club bonds and an improved community.

PAST EVENTS Mother Nature’s Special Day. The captivating flowers, fresh breeze of wind, and calming bodies of water are all of Mother Nature’s wonderful works of art. For the service project after our meeting on April 26th, FRKC created infographics about how to make Earth happy. This included recycling, picking up trash, thrifting, etc! Through this project, FRKC were able to recognize the beauty of nature and share it with our peers! - Katelynn Evans
