volume 3: fall 2014 city inspiration

INTRODUCTIONcity inspiration

anna bÊ was inspired by the energy of our city. We could not be more proud to call Denver our home. We opened as a local business eight years ago with the vision of being a fun destination for the modern bride and purposely chose a neighborhood location where an independent business could thrive. Our third stylebook is an ode to the energy and life that makes our city great. Shot in a revitalized neighborhood that blends history, raw spaces, and clean aesthetics, we hope this stylebook shows the greatness of our Denver (there were actually so many more great spots that we would have love to included: next time...). Colorado is renowned for its mountains and natural beauty, but there’s a real beauty in the gritty alleys, in the converted warehouses, and the blend of people that is often overlooked. With Denver as our muse, we envisioned a bride who was running through the city, soaking in her favorite locales (or a snuggle with her dog) before her wedding day. Like the juxtaposition of the raw and the historic, we love the juxtaposition of the casual streetwear with the elegant bridal gowns. Independent yet committed and joined to another. To follow you will see the juxtaposition of street wear with soft, flowy fabrics of a delicate wedding gown. We hope you find it just as beautiful as we do.

OUR TEAM thank you! A big huge thank you goes out to everyone who helped with this styled shoot (all local talent). Steve Stanton was our talented photographer who braved the weather and was able to coax our lovely models into dirty, smelly alleys. Matthew Morris Salon made our girls that much lovelier with their incredible hair styling talents. As well as our amazing makeup gal, Leilani Drum Makeup Artistry. The shoot was styled by the uber-talented Joy Koziol who not only knows the dresses inside and out, but has the ability to make a dress a statement.
