Clock Design
Initial Sketches
This is a gracefull clock in the late Art Nouveau style. It is elegantly ornamented with very stylized floral motifs. Mounting is quite simple. This clock adds a very special touch of decoration to any ambient. The pattern is based in an old English design from the beguinning of the 20th century.
This design uses the female form which was large theme of the Art Nouveau and was very popular in the works of Artists such as Alfons Mucha and Jules Cheret.
This design was inspired by the work of Aubry Beardsley, using the large areas of black at white that he used in most of his designs, to give great contrast to the design.
Variations and Experimentation
These designs use curved and arched lines which was the main style of the Art Nouveau movement as is represents the Natural form and orgaic growth. These designs also use floral images which was also largely used in the Art Nouveu Movement.

Poster Development
Here we have developed our designs by experimenting with different font and trying to add colour so that the design would stand out more. We have also tryed to expertiment with the placement of the text to make the more important bits of information catch your eye first.
Here we have experimented with text, seeing where to place the text to make certain bit of imformation stand out and working out which bit of text to group together without making the text not look too seperate, as the blank space available with this image was quite limited.
