The research is based on the Jungian study of collective unconscious and one of its archetypes - transcendence. I explore this narrative in the series of objects referring to the architecture of domes in religious spaces. I believe that by operating archetypal images I can create space that resembles to collective understanding.

The project becomes a study of engaging philosophical ideas in spatial design. I was interested in the surrealistic movement and the ghostly aspect of things. “Listening� to the building, I imagined its hidden nature as a spatial installation of a new structure emerging from the old in juxtaposition with it.

Considering poetics in spatial design as a significant part of the project, I started developing the residential space being inspired by a story from a dream about a boathouse on the coast of the sea. Gradually, this attempt brought me to the organization of the living space by means of an architectural extension.

The property is developed for sale. My work during the internship included lighting, small power and other layouts. I’ve been creating sketches of internal details as well.

As a design assistant I’ve been working on space planning, layouts, furniture design and ergonomic schemes for residential projects. Furniture explications included pieces by Christian Liaigre, Promemoria and Francis Sultana as well as some antique objects, e.g. Alberto Giacometti coffee table.
