01 GARDEN OF CONTRAST
ESMERELDA Based on an excerpt from Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino, a model was built to represent "esmerelda". Esmerelda is a city of canals, streets, and an infinite number of possible pathways connecting the city. After creating Esmerelda, several more iterations were completed before extracting two pieces of the model and turning it into a garden of contrast.

PROCESS MODELS Turning two contrasting spacial qualities into a garden.
FINAL MODEL This design shows the strategy of using native plantings on campus in both unorganized and organized ways in order to change the natureof a space.

02 WEST 7TH STREET CAR The West 7th corridor in St. Paul is planning for a street car to be put in. One of the stops is at the intersection of Davern and West 7th. By removing parking structures and adding a community center, park, urban farm, river connection, housing, and native retention ponds, this design serves the community as well as visitors from around the region.

03 UPPER HARBOR TERMINAL These models are diagramatical representations of the Upper Harbor Terminal Regional Park plan. A concept that would act as a library of programming to serve the community of North Minneapolis as well as the greater region.
