Ann-Charlott Eriksen

Green urbanist and spatial designer, Ph.D., with a special interest in how values and understandings affect the design and planning of sustainable buildings, urban spaces, neighbourhoods, cities and regions. I am particularly interested in green urban development, of interactions between social and ecological processes and activities, and how we understand and value 'nature' in relation to our own interests and needs. My work explore different medias: from visual representations and design drawings to policies, urban plans and research publications. I approach urban design and planning from a cross-disciplinary perspective, searching for relations and potential syngergies between different modes of understanding and approaching urban issues.
