Indie Lovely Gift Guide
I know, you are thinking, how can I shop indie for those hard to please people on my list? wellllll...... let me show ya.
B o o m b o x i P ho ne case I love cases with cool retro images on them. I have one that looks like a poloroid camera. This one would be super cool for that hip teenage boy on your list. Man, are they hard to please. He will be super excited when he sees this. He might even SMILE! page 7

I don’t know what crafter wouldn’t like more supplies to hoard. I really want to make this, so if anyone out there feels the call to buy me a gift, this is what you should buy.

Wow. These are great. Seriously, cool for kids and babies and stuff, but I want them for my own library. Any witty biblophile will want the whole collection. A fun idea for that quirky librarian or your cousin that is always quoting Jane Austin. Or a child.

N a t u ra l C o lo gne fo r M en Your brother is like 22-ish {or still thinks he is, anyway}. All he can think about is having fun. To quote the maker: “Decadence & Debauchery is a glamorous natural perfume inspired by the decadence of yesteryear and excessive indulgences”...pretty sure it’s gonna be the best gift he gets this year. high five.
Hipster D o lls These dolls are cute for a girl of any age, but specifically tweens. They come with accessories like shawls, cowls, cat eye glasses, and funky hair do’s. This will make you the “auntie” she confides her teenage secrets to in the future. pinky promise. xoxo page 9

H o t Air Ballo o n T ights You know that special person: She made her sweater. She carries a handbag full of craft supplies. She drinks tea... It seems as if she has made herself everything {especially after you witness her in action in her craft tutorial video on her youtube channel} but I’m pretty sure she doesn’t have these awesome tights! Watch her jump up and down with glee! indie lovely

cut some greens from an evergreen tree
upcycle some ribbon from the thrift store
gather pinecones, dried flowers and twigs
Using found and upcycled materials, we created this wreath. We made little bunches of interesting twigs, dried flowers, pearl beads, and shaped wire... then spraypainted them gold... instant fancy! indie lovely

how to: foraged home decor
Find vines in the woods. Drag a few home. Start with the thickest end of your thickest vine to use as your base. Start weaving the vine around itself to create a round or oval shape. Tuck the ends into the layers.

to add a new vine, simply tuck an end into the wreath like this:
keep weaving in more and more vine until you have it as thick as you would like. Here is our finished wreath. You could make it any size you like! Smaller wreaths make super cute holiday ornaments! indie lovely

Every year my middle daughter and I comb the web for new printable gift tag sets to use for our gifts. Last year we used some from Helen Dardik. It is a fun ritual that we look forward to. I put together a list of all the free printable tags that I could find. SNAG IT! We also enjoy embellishing blank shipping tags with glitter, needle and thread sewn stitches, embroidery and applique. It adds a lovely homemade feel to your gifts. I made a set of free printable holiday tags for you to use! Just download, print and cut. They are so very shabby chic... with cute deer, vintage paper, and glitter of course! click HERE to grab em.

At Yellow Door Art Market you will find hip handmade goods from over 60 Michigan artists... an everchanging eclectic art fair that offers goods ranging from photography, sculpture, wearables, pottery, soaps, candles, paintings, glassware, edibles, books, kids art & more. Yellow Door was created for two reasons... -so artists would have other opportunities to market their work other than art fairs, etsy & wholesale. -so Metro Detroiters would have a place where they could buy a large variety of amazing handmade wares & know ALL their money spent there is staying in the state... helping to support the local economy!

4. Is this not the cutest little
embroidery set of gnomes? Make them with a pattern from wee wonderfuls. They also have adorable doll and softie patterns. Did I mention their paper?
6. Did you used to love paper dolls when
you were little? Me too. Tiny Girl is finally old enough to enjoy them. I’m excited, so I got these super cute printable paper dolls where you can add your own photo heads from Claudine Hellmuth on Etsy. It will be a fun project to make with kids.
5. I am going to make a
few of these to top my gifts this year. I made a bunch more gift wrap kits for my holiday show sponsor tables... They will look so cute with the wreath on top. I’m going to change the size when I print it out for my smaller gift boxes. I pin my faves on pinterest too.
