When the judge simply disregards the law and decides he will not apply the law, that is the true meaning of corruption. Before any judge is sworn to office, he must take an oath to comply with Judicial Canons which include Canon 3A which states:
(1) A judge should be faithful to, and maintain professional competence in, the law and should not be swayed by partisan interests, public clamor, or fear of criticism.
These blogs will follow the activities of several prominent judges in the San Francisco Superior Court who persistently violate the law. We will review several material rulings and how the Court has ignored its duties, and yet the judicial disciplinary department, the Judicial Commission of Performance (“JCP”), has repeatedly ignored the request to review these abuses.
