Rottefella MOVE™ system – a gamechanger within cross-country skiing Rottefella has always been driving innovation. Ten years ago, Rottefella introduced the first binding that could be moved on the ski; with Rottefella MOVE™, we increase the joy of skiing further. In addition to making moving the binding easier than before, Rottefella MOVE™ gets you ready for a number of future technical innovations. Moving the binding on the ski is an effective and easy way to adjust the grip and glide not just on waxless skin skis, that have a permanent waxing zone, but also on skis that must be waxed. With the MOVE™ Switch, you can move the binding without stepping out of the binding, ensuring a great grip on the climbs and good glide when you’re going downhill.
The key is the NIS 2.0 mounting plate, an upgraded and optimized mounting plate. The plate is ready for a number of features that will be launched over the next few seasons. The first available innovation is the MOVE™ Switch; next year the Move™ Electric will be available, an electronic gearing solution with remote control on the pole. Both solutions allow you to move the binding “on the go”. Madshus is Rottefella MOVE™ launch partner in 2017. The Rottefella MOVE™ system: The NIS 2.0 mounting plate with MOVE™ Interface is the foundation of the revolutionary Rottefella MOVE™ system, opening up to all future Rottefella innovations.
Along with NIS 2.0, we launch three inserts; NIS Insert allows you to use the NIS 2.0 mounting plate with previous NIS bindings. Move™ Switch Insert is part of the Move™ Switch product. Move™ Electric Insert will be part of the Move™ Electric product. MOVE™ Switch is the first unique innovation of the MOVE™ system. NIS 2.0 mounting plate - the key to all future Rottefella binding innovations NIS 2.0 mounting plate is the key to all future Rottefella innovations, compatible with existing Rottefella bindings when used with the right inserts. All skis with NIS 2.0 are ready for upgrade to MOVE™Switch and MOVE™ Electric. MOVE™Electric will be available in 2019/2020.
