The space is in a dark ambience with lighting focusing on the artworks , makes the artworks stand out

2 CATAGORIES OF PHOTOGRAPHS

There are 2 categories of photographs, monochrome and color, and they are displayed by creating a divided area, giving the privilege to the visitor of what to see first

The display are created in a linear way to make the visitors really see into each of the artworks, creating differences of beauty between color and monochrome photograph

The visitors are invited to enjoy the beauty of Indonesian Traditionalism, and the beauty of our ethnic elements of tradition by the monochromatic photographs

Not only to enjoy the beauty but also to understand the beauty itself, the exhibitor used description in some of the artworks

After showing that the ethnic elements can be enjoyed by the monochromatic way, the exhibitor wants to share that our Indonesia has beautilful, rich, and colorful ethnic elements of traditionalism that can be enjoyed by the colored photograohs

THE GALLERY The building is a heritage from the time when dutch occupied. The form is classic yet still have oriental style that used at the time

The concept is to enjoy the artworks while dining in a dutch-indonesian way, creating a space that brought us back to the time when the building was used as a restaurant in 18th century The artworks are mainly paintings of revolution figures to make the visitor remember the time with faces that a bit familiar with them, to enjoy part of the memory of the time.
