Five Takht’s
Sri Akal Takht Sahib
Part of the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar, Punjab Sri Akal Takht literally means Eternal throne. Situated opposite to the Harmandir Sahib, Akal Takht was instituted with a special purpose.

While the Golden Temple stands for special guidance the Akal Takht symbolizes justice and temporal activity.

Takht Sri Damdama Sahib
Situated in the picturesque village of Talwandi Sabo near Bhatinda, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib is a place of great virtue.
In 1705, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji compiled final edition of Guru Granth Sahib also known as the Damdama Sahib Bir- Spiritual scripture of Sikhs, who stayed in Talwandi Sabo for approximately a year.

Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib
Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib is situated at Anandpur Sahib in Punjab and is recognized as a birthplace of the Khalsa.

Takht Sri Hazur Sahib
One of the most important Sikh pilgrimage, Takht Sri Hazur Sahib is situated on the bank of the river Godavari, Maharashtra. Famed by the name of Sri Gurudwara Langar Sahib, it is the place where Guru Gobind Singh took his last breath.
The inner room of the Gurudwara is called Angitha Sahib and it is built over the place where Guru Gobind Singh was cremated in 1708.

Takht Sri Patna Sahib
Situated in Patna, Capital of Bihar Takht Sri Patna Sahib (Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib, Patna) enjoys the privilege of being the birthplace of tenth Guru Gobind Singh.
