Mary de Buhr Antiques is from Downer’s Grove, Ill. The Simple Goods Early Country Antiques and Primitive Goods Show will return to Berlin, Ohio, on Saturday, Nov. 2, in the heart of Amish country. In its 13th year, the fall show will be held at the Heritage Community Center, which is located 3.6 miles northeast of Berlin, Ohio, on U.S. Route 62. The rural Amish setting makes it the perfect place for a great country

and primitive show. The show features over 50 wellknown dealers representing 15 states from the Midwest to the East Coast. Here is one of the 1754 Ephrata Cloister hymnals. Exciting new-to-market items will include a collection of NASA photographs as well as two 18th-century Ephrata Cloister hymnals at Cordier’s Book and Ephemera Auction on Sunday, Oct. 27, in Harrisburg, Pa. NASA contracted Kodak to provide the film for their Gemini and Apollo missions. At the time, Charles “Rex” Anderson was working in Kodak’s research lab. Anderson assisted NASA officials to develop

film that returned from missions. During his tenure, Anderson acquired a collection of official NASA photographs, which are being offered to the public for the first time. More than 80 photos will be sold, including iconic images such as the first U.S. spacewalk, Charles Duke exploring Plum crater, and John Young saluting the American Flag at the Descartes landing site.
