espite the pandemic, Levittown Science Olympiad teams from Division Avenue High School and General Douglas MacArthur High School have had a successful year. The teams earned spots in the Science Olympiad Nassau East Regional Competition and the New York State Tournament. Students from both teams prepared for the regional and state tournaments by participating in invitational competitions during the school year. Division Avenue students showcased their talents at the Duke University, Harvard-Brown, MIT and Princeton invitationals, while MacArthur students sharpened their skills at the Duke University and North Pocono invitationals. The Levittown Public Schools congratulates both the Division Avenue and MacArthur Science Olympiad teams for their hard work and achievements this school year. See the rest of the story on page 27.
