Extinction Rebellion

Extinction Rebellion are a group of Eco-radicals. They aim to bring attention to climate change, seeking government intervention by participating in street protests and mass forms of defiance.

The radicals protested outside Victoria Beckhams London fashion show with slogans like “F** consumerism”. And other instances where the activists have gathered to block traffic or interrupt the tube service.

More than 1,000 people ended up arrested many of them for the first time. The groups actions are a response to the lack of action taken by the government to tackle climate change.
