victoria

photographer Victoria Koydl is a German and Russian photographer/ creative director based in London. Her work focuses on showcasing boys in a way that shows emotion, vulnerability and softness. A lot of her work is inspired by films from the 1980's, therefore she strives to create a story-telling effect by ensuring that there is a strong meaning behind all of her shoots. Victoria does this by choosing the appropriate location, styling and models to best portray the feeling that she is after. Mainly choosing to shoot on her olympus film camera as it compliments her story-telling technique and allows her to capture candid, nostalgic moments that feel genuine.

meeka

photographer Meeka Mckenzie is currently finishing her degree in Fashion Promotion. Naturally a very creative and ambitious person, she has developed a unique and personal style which mixes retro inspired graphics with photography. Her latest project, "Luh Zine" is a biannual publication exploring social and cultural views that affect the female body image. The following photographs are part of an ongoing series which focuses on reflecting a positive, body confident image portrayed in a soft, subtle and feminine way. Directing her shoots to ensure her sets look like part of a still life painting, she ensures to reflect the personality of her subject but through her own interpretation.

josh

photographer Josh Dalsan is an artist/photographer based in South London, who will be attending Camberwell University. Dalsan is currently completing his gap year where he has experimented with self portraiture in photography and an interest in architecture. Selfportraiture has been a new and exciting journey where reflection plays an important part in his photographs. This interest started with a new found understanding of mental health, leading to a whole reflective examination. It has been an important development in shifting his focus from street photography. Josh has also been

learning the process of film

photography, understanding how different types of film respond to light and environment. He now has an in-depth knowledge, something he believes is a skill left abandoned in this digitally driven world.

zarina

photographer/ stylist Zarina Shukri is a London based fashion photographer and stylist. Her ongoing series "Women" started as a direct response to the limitations set and engrained in fashion imagery. Finding the often overly polished nature of fashion photography and the lack of diversity in casting in frustrating, Shukri set out to capture images of compelling women regardless of their height, size, background, or age. The photographs are shot on an old Olympus 35mm film camera and left untouched, allowing a rawness to shine through. Through the body of work, Shukri observes the women behind the standard in an effort to unravel the confining nature of the industry.
