The idea for my book «Das Drama der begrenzten Zeit | The drama of limited time» was developed during the graphic design project "Speed Up - Slow Down" at the Free University of Bolzano, in which every student had to realise his or her own editorial project around the theme of the course. My goal for this project initially was to make a book that can be read in two different ways: a slow way and a fast way. By reading it the fast way, you receive all the needed information to understand what is happening, or in other words, the frame of the story. You don't waste much time, but you may miss the point of what it is all about. If you read it the slow way, you are experiencing the whole story, you get to know the entire picture with all the details and hopefully are rewarded to a higher degree. The downside is that you have to spend more time with the book and you have to seek the content actively. To reach this goal somehow, I first had to choose a story.
