«Life nowadays, with the new technologies is way faster»; this is the sentence at the base of the book realised for the final project LINKED. This book wants to front a thought that is really strong into peoples minds: the speed of interpersonal interactions through social media and in real life is totally different, faster and frenetic on the socials and slow in real life. This is mostly reflected by teenagers born in the middle of the digital era, grown up with a smart device in their hands all their life, building bonds through a screen lots of times and not by talking or interacting. So the intent was to actually show this difference in speeds following the life of a regular teenager, in his everyday life, but entering his mind, his thoughts only through the screen of his cell phone. The narration of the book, in fact, is realised with illustrations and smaller pages inside the big ones that represent his phone’s screen.
