The design of my typeface «Madboy» arose from a calligraphy workshop where I learned the use of the broad-nib pen with ink on paper. Hence I sketched my typeface out of my broad-nib pen-written letters. Based on my calligraphic hand drawings, I vectorise my typeface into an editable ready-to-use digital «Font» utilising Adobe Illustrator, Astute Graphics PlugIns, FontSelf and Glyphs App. My classic book serif typeface is designed for setting body copy. «Madboy» is a highly readable serif text faces which fit perfect for setting running text with a hybrid classic-contemporary look and feel.
