The design of my typeface «Quantico» originated from a calligraphy workshop where I learned the use of the broad-nib pen with ink on paper. Hence I designed my typeface out of my broad-nib pen handwritten letters. Based on my calligraphic hand drawings, I vectorise my typeface into an editable ready-to-use digital «Font» utilising Adobe Illustrator, Astute Graphics PlugIns, FontSelf and Glyphs App. My classic book serif typeface inspired by the typeface Baskerville is designed for setting body copy. «Quantico» is a highly readable text faces which fit perfect for setting running text with a classic neo-baroque look and feel.
