At the semester start, we did a Typography workshop, and throughout the semester I went on designing my own serif typeface. Accordingly, my Typeface «San Sherif» was created out of my handwritten lettering with a broad-nib pen. It started with a calligraphy workshop at the very beginning of the course held by the Austrian calligrapher Eva Pöll (www.kallos.at). The first steps toward the technical implementation of my «Typeface» into an editable «Font», I made with Adobe Illustrator and some Astute Graphics PlugIns. Afterwards, with FontSelf and Glyphs App I developed my typeface «San Sherif» into a fully editable ready-to-use font.
