General agenda for a project week Costs Each partner pays for its travel expenses; Each partners is responsible for transport during the stay (assistance is given by the host organisation; if so, then the price should be agreed on beforehand); Each partner pays for the accommodation during the stay, host will give assistance to find suitable hotels/hostels The Week Monday is “Arrival Day”, Programme starts with a dinner organised in the evening; then an overview of the week ahead will be given by partner at host organisation + project leader Tuesday, Wednesday – “Working Days” Thursday –“Cultural Day”; project leaders/coordinators of each country plan the next meeting; the meeting ends with a good bye dinner(each participants has to pay 30€ for the expenses of these dinners to the host organisation; expenses for the cultural day is paid by the host organisation) Friday- lift off or stay longer, up to each partner Groups Groups of a max. of 6 students and 2 or 3 teachers Language skills of the students should be in Level A2 or B1 according to the European language reference frame Number of Meetings
In general we will have two meetings per academic year where students participate, additionally we have meetings mainly for project leaders to work on the report/tasks 2013 Week 6 or 7 project meeting 1 in Spain Week 23 or 24 meeting 2 Poland Week 37 meeting for project leaders- Spain Week 45 or 46; 3rd. project meeting Turkey 2014 Week 13 or 14 final project meeting with students in Italy Final meeting in week 22 or 23 for final report, final products in Sneek, NL Project Taks and Results Final product: Dynamic history book on War and Peace in Europe, teaching material General material to be done: - general PPP about the project (to inform colleagues, students, parents about the project) - Kor is starting the first edition of this PPP, the general one, then all partners will send their own school information (2 slides) - With material taken from the PPP a flyer/booklet should be made - To store and share the data we produce a cloud/webspace will be installed by the German partner. You will get an introduction how it works during the first project meeting.
- Logo; (contest; task for every partner, students design it and we will be sending it before the end of the year). One of the partners is in charge of this; we will vote. They are sent to the cloud. In week 3 coordinators decide the best 6 logos, one for each partner. Finally, coordinators decide who the winner is, present it in Seville. Maybe print it on T-shirts (for publicity)
TASKS: new tasks are shown in every meeting related to the topics. Each partner should develop and test two new tasks according to the headline/topic of each meeting. Specific material to be done for the first meeting in Spain headline “Will you go with him/her?” 1 ) an ABC on War (s.attachment) 2) timeline- National, European, World Timeline on war 3) Situation –imagine your teacher suggests to go to war with him/ to the Western front (I will send you a copy of the film; E.M. Remarque All Quit on the Western Front) During the first meeting we can share and compare the results. Students can present their results. Teachers should discuss as well the teaching material (e.g. ABC). All material should be tested by then Tasks for the 2nd meeting: “Testimonies” - Recordings (testimonies; witnesses) - Pictures with comments

Compare. - What people are now active for peace? - Role of United Nations (UN) - Red cross, when was it born. Still operating, very active. Other organizations. Tasks for the 4th meeting: “ Give peace a chance” - How to maintain peace PRODUCTS: - Final product = Dynamic historical book - Booklet to explain the project (similar to power point presentation) - Poster - Project film (7-8 minutes), upload it.
