OWN A FOREST Tami Hills, it’s name derives from the native language of Bri Bri culture native from Costa Rica,
which means “el espíritu de las colinas/ bosque” – “the spirit of the forest”. it’s perfectly located close to the Atlantic side of Costa Rica, in the Limon Province of Costa Rica, allowing you to enjoy the goods of Costa Rican weather with two summers and two rainy seasons per year. This area is surrounded by a Lush Primary forest with over 600 Bird species, coconut and bananas plantations in the Valle la Estrella.
The Limón Province is one of the most geographically diverse regions in the country and it’s also considered one of the most virgin and exuberant areas of Costa Rica. Tami Hills is located at 25 km away from Cahuita National Park and 38 km from Puerto Viejo Beach with access to agricultural lands, water, wildlife habitat and ecological Resources.
This Caribbean side has a unique atmosphere and a fascinating history. Limon has evolved separately from the rest of the country for many years and so developed its own styles, languages, and ways of life. The area is known as a culturally diverse province, housing a significant Afro Caribbean and indigenous
population. The majority of its territory is situated in the country’s Caribbean lowlands, though the southwestern portion houses part of an extensive mountain range known as the Cordillera de Talamanca. As a cultural center, this city is a bustling port with a unique and vibrant frame.

A natural heritage is a way back to nature where time reveals itself within biodiversity and ecosystems that hold their inherited treasure. A path which has never been walked and never been touched. Tami Hills’ character fits perfectly to this framework regarding a land that is the living proof for future generations.

PRIMARY FOREST
Microclimate can create the most amazing biodiversity. A dense tropical forest with tall Almendro and Cedar trees which dominate the 80% of Tami Hills’ land, are the perfect refugee for over 600 bird species. The Ron-ron (Astronium graveolens), an easily identifiable tree with pleasant smelling and reddish leaves is also hidden in the area at plain sight.
WATER Water Streams travel along the terrain. There are also storm drains, where the water can be taken-up by plants and/or infiltrate into the soil.
ECOLOGICAL RESOURCES The area counts with Self-sustaining natural resources, vast flora and abundant resources for wildlife.
WILDLIFE HABITAT Over 600 Birds species can be found in the area. Costa Rica holds over 918 bird species in all its territory.
