NEW INSTITUTE OF PHOTONIC SCIENCES, Castelldefels (Spain). Design for AYESA Practice (1st Prize Competition ) For this restricted competition, we had to create a new research and office building for the ICFO Foundation (Institute of Photonic Sciences) in front of the old one. The project aim is to integrate the building into the nature, preserving the trees and generating an organic shape for the proposal. We won this competition and we have already started to develop it. I participated in a team of three.

CABUEÑES HOSPITAL EXTENSION AND RENOVATION, Gijón (Spain). Design for AYESA Practice.

I participated in the design of this public competition about the extension and renovation of the Cabueñes Hospital in Spain. The integration of the new piece in the renovated urban area was the goal of the proposal, as well as generating an atractive new entrance for the hospital. This competition is currently taking place and we are in the final stage. I participated in a team of two.

ABU DHABI SQUARE AND ICONIC BRIDGE, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) Design for AYESA Practice. I participated in a big international team working on different projects in Saudi Arabia related to infrastructure and public spaces. Some of then are included in the metro lines 4,5 and 6 of the riyadh city. I would like to highlight this design of the Iconic Bridge over the Abu Dhabi Square. The concept of the pavements follow the fractal design. We develop some “false trees� to create shadow spaces to protect the park users as well as an under pass to cross the the road.

MASTERPLAN “The Great Northern�, Manchester (U.K.) Collaboration in aLL Design London Office (Will Alsop Architects). In this Masterplan project located in the city of Manchester, there are refurbishment of existing pieces and new designing of Housing, Office, Cultural and Educational Buildings. In this collaboration with the London office, I had the opportunity to learn the role of the architect in U.K. at all stages, including winning jobs, preparing planning applications and submitting to local authority, working with consultans and preparing detailed information for tender and construction. Also managing a project, drawing 2D plans and 3D models with Building Information System as Revit software. My duties in this project were: - Designing public spaces and furniture for the Civic Square - Preparing 2D and 3D drawings for presentation materials using adobe creative suite.

MASTERPLAN “TORRE SEVILLE”, Seville (Spain). Collaboration in AYESA with PELLI CLARKE PELLI Architects. I collaborated in the construction of this office and commercial project, including the first skyscraper in Seville, working ’on-site’ from May 2014 to April 2015. For this year my duties were: - Support to the definition of Project Modifications. Coordination with PKP office contacting them for the changes in the original design. - Editing, Revision and approval of plans. Plans relating to the area of architecture, landscape, structures and MEP. Assistance in the Supervision of Works. Visit to continued work. Technical office of Project Management. - Collaboration in the drafting of the Final Works Official Documentation. Final Certificate of Works, Projects Modifications and As-Built drawings.

I had the opportunity of collaborating in this Courthouse project in its first year of work. During this year, my duties were: - Support to the definition of Project Modifications and new scopes with 2D-3D drafting and models. Editing, Revision and approval of built plans. Assistance in the Supervision of Works visiting the site.
SOCIAL HOUSING+COMMUNITY CENTRE, Seville (Spain). M.Arch Diploma Final Project (Honours).
For my diploma final project, I designed an urban redefinition of an historical and complex area of the centre of Seville, which combines local history and contemporary life, graduating with honours, as the first of the class. This project has a duality of programs and features for the two spaces: public-private, closed-opened space, housingcommunity centre, connecting both buildings. For this project, I develop and calculated all the structures and MEP systems.

One of the most interesting points of the project is how the physical separation between the perimeter void is generated within the equipment and the Vascongadas street is resolved. The practice of making a glass box recessed operation makes the alley street Vascongadas earn dimension perceived street, the wall and slides generated as a whole public.

HOUSING+LANDSCAPE MASTERPLAN, Mianyang (China). International Workshop “New Settlements-Cultural Landscape Urbanization�.
The project idea is to keep the original topography of the site to contain a strong natural character and landscape. To this end, a central axis of public spaces arises as a pedestrian platforms where born nuclei cross roads to housing. These properties are presented as living quarters for rural people who work the land, so that a network of canals to irrigate land gravity is designed to give options to the domestic crop.

WATERFRONT GUADALQUIVIR, Seville (Spain). International Workshop. Collaboration with Cruz & Ortiz Architects. The sections below show how the topography of the original riverside is not modiďŹ ed. The design has tried to increase the volume of green areas adding a lot of new trees and shrubs of different species.
