_COVER LETTER Since the end of my University career, I have improved skills in space organization, designing in various scales, and management of complex programs. I have got also good skills in representation, from classical technical boards, to hand-drawing and diagrams and schemes, as well as rendering. Most of all, on the human side, trough my year of experience abroad, I developed an attitude for adaptation to different situations. I like people, and I am very good in team working and pressure-resistance, friendly and in genre in good mood. I am curious about everything I don’t know how to do and willing to spend time and effort at learning, usually capable to do it with good results in a short time. My objective is to find an environment both stimulating on a creative level and on the human one, to grow even more and to test my acquired skills with other people.

_WORK EXPERIENCE Part 2 - Architectural Assistant (3 months) 2015 aLL Design (Will Alsop) – London, United Kingdom. As part of a wider team of 14, I worked on two projects: · Masterplan in Manchester (U.K.) called “The Great Northern” reusing and designing new housing, cultural and office buildings. My duties in this project have been designing public spaces for the Civic Square, and preparing 2D and 3D drawings for presentation materials using Adobe Creative Suite. · Masterplan in Brentford, London (U.K.) called “Capital Interchange Way. Blues in the Night” proposing a big basement for a bus station and three towers with mixed uses. My duties in this project have been designing and developing apartment types for residential buildings and working with constructive details.
Part 2 - Architectural Assistant (8 months). Part 1 - Architectural Assistant (6 months). 2014 - 2015 AYESA Engineering and Architecture – Seville, SPAIN. During my time at AYESA as Part 1 and Part 2 architectural assistant, I was involved in some projects like: · Project and Works of the Office Tower and Tertiary Services Center called “Torre Sevilla” in Sevilla, Spain. Experience working ’on-site’. Project in collaboration with the international office PELLI CLARKE PELLI Architects . · Project and Works of the Palace of Justice in Córdoba, Spain. Experience working ’on-site’. Project in collaboration with the international office MECANOO Architects. · Design and architectural definition of underpasses, overpasses and viaducts of the Thumamah Corridor, the bridge Iconic Bridge and the landscape and public spaces of the King Abdul Aziz Branch Road in Riyadh, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. · Supervision and Control of the Design Project for the first metro line in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. In the aforementioned projects I participated providing technical assistance work overseeing the monitoring of work, defining modifications to the drafting, editing, review and approval of implementation plans, as well as the definition, review and coordination of the architectural design criteria for large engineering projects.

_INDEX OF PROJECTS I have decided to select some projects of my professional experience and of my academic background that reflect the different scales of action in which I conceive architecture (S, M, L, XL and XXL). The scale is a basic component and determinant in the outcome of any project, its correct interpretation and adaptation are the basis for a successful performance. This graphic shows the different areas of expertise in which I have worked as well as the international perspective of travelling around the world exploring and developing my own vision as an architect. The following exposition, summarizes each of the scales I have faced under a common thread reflecting the foundation on which my architecture is based.

2014 Seville (Spain) B.Arch. Diploma project
For my final degree project, I designed an urban redefinition of an historical and complex area of the centre of Seville, which combines local history and contemporary life, graduating with honours, as the first of the class. The idea is to generate a spatial structure for a plot, and trying to connect with the other plot, being designed as the antithesis of the other one, in a conceptual way. This project has a duality of programs and features for the two spaces: public-private, closed-opened space, housing-community centre, connecting both buildings. In this regard, one of the most interesting points of the project is how the physical separation between the perimeter void is generated within the equipment and the Vascongadas street is resolved. The practice of making a glass box recessed operation makes the alley street Vascongadas earn dimension perceived street, the wall and slides generated as a whole public. For this project, I develop and calculated all the structures, installations, facilites and construction details with engineering softwares.

THE INHABITED WALL Reuse of the Island of San Giacomo in Paludo

(12500 m2)
2012 San Giacomo in Paludo, Venice (Italy) Workshop FORTIFIED PLACES
The project is located on the small island of San Giacomo in Paludo, in a strategic position north of the Lagoon of Venice (Italy). The idea came as a heterotopia, creating a new tourism model, where the visitor becomes the actor of his own journey, with capacity to engage in that are integrated into the heritage object of contemplation industrial-craft activities. The intervention on the island is to rehabilitate the abandoned ships inside while a double skin is generated by treating the boundary wall of the island as a equipped habitable wall that generates a perimeter tour of the island with specific interactions artisan craft workshops. The goal at all times is that the island retains its essence, respecting all its architectural and natural elements, but enhancing its value. One of the natural pieces is preserved as a garden of contemplation, and the two refurbished pieces have been restored following their historical apperances. This project was supervised by Proffesors Mauro Marzo, Antonio Tejedor y Maria Salerno. HISTORICAL PICTURES OF THE ISLAND OF SAN GIACOMO IN PALUDO

2012 Krakow (Poland) M. Arch. and Design project
This proyect starts from the orthogonality generated in the area where it is located, The Krakow Airport Zone. Volumes through rectangular shapes are designed to occupy the plot and create a new rhythm in the environment to accomodate a new offices space. These offices will be connected together trough a high pedestrian gateway that is based on the airport. Then, one building will be developed in detail to define its coming to constructive aspects. Using the colour is very important in the proyect, as shaped all elevations be very colourful. This project was supervised by Prof. Krzysztof Ingarden of INGARDEN & EWY ARCHITEKCI.

WATERFRONT GUADALQUIVIR Landscape and Cultural Facilities
Year Location Subject
XL (120000 m2)
2015 Seville (Spain) C谩tedra Blanca Workshop
The project starts from the analysis of the edge of the river Guadalquivir on its way through the historic center of the city of Seville. The intersections of the bridges with the right bank have generated complex urban situations and should be studied as a whole. From the North to the South, there is a rhythm of public spaces connecting the city with the River, however, in its middle point and place of the location of the project, where this connection is completely broken due to the introduction of the bus station and a few parking lots. The idea of the project is to connect the North and the South through a large urban green area, allowing citizens to walk around the edge of the River through public spaces. In addition, as a gateway to the city, a building is generated from the geometry of the Park to host cultural uses. This project was supervised by Antonio Cruz Villal贸n of the architectural office CRUZ&ORTIZ Architects.

The project idea is to keep the original topography of the site to contain a strong natural character and landscape. To this end, a central axis of public spaces arises as a pedestrian platforms where born nuclei cross roads to housing. These properties are presented as living quarters for rural people who work the land, so that a network of canals to irrigate land gravity is designed to give options to the domestic crop. The project is dipped in the nature of the place keeping the big green spots and building as possible. The section reflects the project as the uses are stratified with respect to topography. This project was supervised by Prof. Ram贸n Pico y Studio of Professor Nie.

2013 Santiago de Cuba (Cuba) Workshop NEW DEAL HOUSES AFTER HURRIC ANE SANDY
The project starts from a formal relationship between the design of the historic center of Santiago de Cuba and our environment trying to convey the idea of applying it to the rural community. After the disaster of Hurricane Sandy, housing needs were notorious, so raise certain density was required. To do this, an infrastructure network and connections between all intervention is generated to encourage social contact between Cuban citizens. The approach of adapting itself to the topography housing helps to understand that Cuban philosophy of engaging nature to live in harmony. CONCEPTUAL SKETCHES
