LIGHT AND UNDERGROUND INTERACTION In Mexico, the longevity rate has increased, according to INEGI, the life expectancy for an old person is 75 years old (numbers until 2016). It is expected that might keep incresing in the near future. The typology of cementeries in Mexico and mostly in the world have been designed horizontally, distortioning the urban image and creating a perspective of pain, loneliness and isolation during the grieving process. The columbarium is proposed with this in mind, trying to materialized the grief process and relief. It is composed by a pound park that tries to make people interact with each other during the grief process
