… p2sp… was begun in 1996 by Antonio Nodar, when he started photographing artists in black & white and giving them a print onto which they rendered their response in a medium of their choosing.The process resembles a dialogue, where the answer to the question posed by the photographic portrait is given in the treatment it receives at the hands of the artists. …p2sp… is ongoing and has spread worldwide to include more than one thousand artists. The original artworks and photographs, of which the final collection comprises, are not for sale, but will be donated at a future point in time. However, a collection of personalised volumes is available for collector participation.
The Volumes collection To mark the completion of the first one thousand artists involved … from portrait to selfportrait … diptychs collection goes public under the form a hand bound limited edition books. Each volume narrates the construction of the project by order of finished diptych.

Bound as a hardback, Real Cloth Assuan 5069. Cover over 4mm board. Size A3 landscape (44×30.05×5 cms). Round Spine, with white and blue foil blocking. Head and tail bands, red ribbon marker. Printed by Staccato screen, six colours plus selective varnish, on 170 gr Magno Satin paper. Binding hand made. Houses 242 artists. 512 pages. Weight : 6 kg 150 grams.
Webb Con la creación de la pagina web www.p2sp.org el proyecto toma forma como una entidad al servicio del colectivo, la web funciona como un centro de documentación de arte contemporáneo, y del proyecto, donde todas las imágenes son de libre consulta para el publico, cada artista se le otorga una pagina con su imagen, una pequeña biografía, 3 imágenes de su obra y conexión a pagina web si tiene.
