Andean Grains Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa) Quinoa is grown in the Andes for about 5,000 years. Like potatoe, it was one of the main foods of the Andean pre-Inca and Inca peoples. It is thought that in the past was also used for cosmetic purposes in the Andean highlands. It grows from sea level in Peru and up to 4000 m altitude in the Andes, but its most common height is from the 2500 meters until 4000. It is considered a sacred grain by the native peoples of the Andes, due to their unique nutritional characteristics.

Dietetic & Nutrition Maca (Lepidium meyenii)

Maca and its derivatives are used as inputs for the preparation of capsules and multivitamin by pharmaceutical companies. It contains carbohydrates, amino acids, minerals, vitamins and fatty acids naturally favoring the health and improve sexual performance naturally. Paprika (Capsicum annuum)
