Ubamarket integrates with Point Four EPoS
The partnership will enable retailers to use Ubamarket’s ‘Scan, Pay, Go’ app to create a personalised in-store experience.
Ubamarket is integrating its technology with EPoS provider Point Four to enable thousands of convenience stores across the UK to have access to some of the most sophisticated retail technology.
The partnership will enable Ubamarket’s retail technology to be implemented in stores across Budgens, Nisa, Premier, Spar, James Retail, Bestway, and Londis.
Through Ubamarket’s ‘Scan, Pay, Go’ app, shoppers will be able to utilise the app’s suite of features to create a more personalised in-store experience. Its key features include:
● ‘Magic Shopping List’ – customers can simply enter or dictate their shopping list into the app. This will then be rearranged into the order in which the items are displayed in the store, guiding the shopper to each item.
● AI-driven loyalty points and personalisedoffers – Ubamarket’s AIrecognises customers’ shoppingpatterns, favourite brands andregular purchases, and will beginto offer deals for their favouriteproducts.
● Plastic Alerts – the app providesinformation on which packagingcan and can’t be recycled andgives customers a summary ofthe environmental footprint oftheir shop.
● Cashier-less checkout – customerscan scan products/shelves asthey shop (without even havingto tap), and then check-out andpay in app.
