Moringa’s Chlorophyll Neutralizes toxins Flushes toxins from the body Natural healer Purifies the liver Removes heavy metals pollutants Helps strengthen the immune system Assists in building red blood cells Rejuvenates at cellular level Reduces the ph level in the body You might want to ask yourself an important question now.
Do you provide your body with all of the required nutrients daily?
What’s more, if you are already taking nutritional supplements and multivitamins how do they compare with the nutrition from Moringa Oleifera’s leaf powder? After considering the fact that your body is designed to naturally process plant food nutrition one can realize that he human body can therefore make a distinction between natural nutrients and the synthetic nutrients. Naturally occurring nutrients from 100% whole foods thus provide better nutrition simply because more of it is bioavailable or absorbable by your body. Now imagine you want to get the benefits of Ninety naturally occurring nutrients. Think of the numerous greens, fruits and vegetables you woul have to pick and choose.
You would then be faced with the task of shopping for and eating these numerous items as part of your diet. Keep in mind though, getting the right nutrition is not about just the quantity of food, it’s pertains mainly to the quality of food. Besides isn’t overeating harmful to health? A person actually needs at least forty different nutrients to be healthy. The nutritional compounds would subsequently need to interact to provide good health. Minerals are needed for vitamins to do their job. Ingestion really has to be diverse indeed. Besides the body doesn’t take up every nutrient consumed due to which supplements have become necessary. When the body does not get all its required nutrients health fails with the onset of disease and sickness. The Bioavailability of Whole Plant Minerals are as indicated below: Calcium - Up to 8.79 times more bioavailable; Chromium - Up to 25 times more bioavailable; Copper - 1.85 time more retained in the liver; Iron - 1.77 times more absorbed into blood; Magnesium - Up to 2.20 times more bioavailable; Manganese - 1.63 times more retained in the liver; Molybdenum - 16.49 times more absorbed into blood; Selenium - Up to 17.60 times the antioxidant effect; Zinc - 6.46 times more absorbed into blood.

The Benefits of Moringa’s Essential Amino acids There are more benefits for you when you have the Moringa Oleifera leaf powder daily. They are Moringa’s Essential Amino acids. The human body is capable of manufacturing only 12 of the 20 or so different amino acids needed to build proteins used to grow, repair, and maintain cells. The Amino acids which our body cannot make are therefore termed Essential Amino Acids. These should be obtained through food sources and Moringa contains all of these Essential Amino Acids naturally.

The Benefits of Chlorophyll

There’s more. Moringa Oleifera also contains Chlorophyll. In fact more chlorophyll is found in Moringa than in any other plant. For example wheat grass is well known for its chlorophyll content and benefits but Moringa Oleifera has 4 times the amount of chlorophyll than wheat grass. Chlorophyll, the green pigment of plants, is an alkalinizing compound found in plants that helps offset the acidifying effect of the typical high-fat, high-protein Western diet. Because chlorophyll is not known to be an essential nutrient, a “deficiency” does not exist. People who do not eat plenty of green foods lack chlorophyll in their diets. Other Benefits of Chlorophyll • Neutralizes toxins • Flushes toxins from the body • Natural healer • Purifies the liver • Removes heavy metals pollutants • Helps strengthen the immune system • Assists in building red blood cells • Rejuvenates at cellular level • Reduces the ph level in the body
“ Chlorophyll is involved in the most important chemical reaction on earth, photosynthesis. Our lives would not be possible without it. Chlorophyll is the master chemical at the base of all of our food supply and oxygen production. Chlorophyll, often referred to as “the blood of plants”, is closely related to hemoglobin – the red pigment of red blood cells responsible for oxygen transport in many animals. The main difference between the two molecules is the metallic element in the center. In human blood hemoglobin consists of iron, while in chlorophyll, the metallic element is magnesium. Some people believe that this resemblance helps the chlorophyll to be better absorbed and used to “build up” blood and fight anemia. Some scientists and nutritionists do not believe it is absorbed internally (to reach the blood) but rather that it may act locally to support the health of the mouth, stomach and intestinal tract. In either case, there is much evidence that chlorophyll could cure or ease acute infection of the respiratory tract and sinuses, chronic ulcers, and bad breath; it also accelerates wound healing and has been shown in animal studies to nullify the cancer-inducing effects of a variety of environmental (including food) toxins. Other studies have shown that chlorophyll supports liver function and detoxification of the body. Moringa is one of the very few foods that contain chlorophyll together with so many other nutrients (vitamins, minerals, proteins, beneficial fats), and has a great taste. Dark green vegetables and herbs like Romaine lettuce, spinach, or parsley are excellent sources of chlorophyll, but they do not provide many of the other nutrients of Moringa.” Excerpt from : Miracle Tree, by Monica Marcu, Pharmacologist

Zinc Zinc plays an important role in the proper functioning of the immune system of the body. It is required for the enzyme activities necessary for cell division, cell growth, and wound healing. It plays a role in the acuity of the senses of smell and taste. Zinc is also involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates. Low-protein diets and vegetarian diets tend to be low in zinc. The Benefits of Moringa’s Vitamins Vitamin A (beta carotene)
This is needed by the retina of the eye in the form of a specific metabolite, the light-absorbing molecule retinal. This molecule is absolutely necessary for both scotopic vision and color vision. Vitamin A also functions in a very different role - as an irreversibly oxidized form retinoic acid, which is an important hormone-like growth factor for epithelial and other cells.
Vitamin B1 (thiamine) This helps fuel the body by converting blood sugar into energy. It keeps the mucous membranes healthy and is essential for the nervous system and cardiovascular and muscular functions. Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) This is required for a wide variety of cellular processes. Like the other B vitamins, it plays a key role in energy metabolism, and for the metabolism of fats, ketone bodies, carbohydrates, and proteins. It is the central component of the cofactors FAD and FMN, and is therefore required by all “Flavoproteins. Vitamin B3 (niacin) Llike all B complex vitamins, is necessary for healthy skin, hair, eyes, and liver. It also helps the nervous system function properly. Niacin helps the body produce sex and stress-related hormones in the adrenal glands and other parts of the body. It is effective in improving circulation and reducing cholesterol levels in the blood. Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) This is required for the synthesis of the neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine and for myelin formation. Pyridoxine deficiency in adults principally affects the peripheral nerves, skin, mucous membranes, and the blood cell system. In children, the central nervous system (CNS) is also affected. Deficiency can occur in people with uremia, alcoholism, cirrhosis, hyperthyroidism, malabsorption syndromes, congestive heart failure (CHF), and in those taking certain medications.

Page 16 Vitamin B7 (biotin) This has vital metabolic functions. Without biotin as a co-factor, many enzymes do not work properly, and serious complications can occur, including varied diseases of the skin, intestinal tract, and nervous system. Biotin can help address high blood glucose levels in people with type 2 diabetes, and is helpful in maintaining healthy hair and nails, decreasing insulin resistance and improving glucose tolerance, and possibly preventing birth defects. It plays a role in energy metabolism, and has been used to treat alopecia, cancer, Crohn’s disease, hair loss, Parkinson’s disease, peripheral neuropathy, Rett syndrome, seborrheic dermatitis, and vaginal candidiasis. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) This is one of the safest and most effective nutrients, experts say. It may not be the cure for the common cold (though it’s thought to help prevent more serious complications), but the benefits of vitamin C may include protection against immune system deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, prenatal health problems, eye disease, and wrinkles. Vitamin D (cholecalciferol) This is essential for promoting calcium absorption in the gut and maintaining adequate serum calcium and phosphate concentrations to enable normal mineralization of bone and prevent hypocalcemic tetany. It is also needed for bone growth and bone remodeling by osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Without sufficient vitamin D, bones can become thin, brittle, or misshapen. Vitamin D sufficiency prevents rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. Together with calcium, vitamin D also helps protect the elderly from osteoporosis. Vitamin D has other roles in human
health, including modulation of neuromuscular and immune function and reduction of inflammation. Vitamin E This describes a family of eight antioxidants, four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. alpha-tocopherol (a-tocopherol) is the only form of vitamin E that is actively maintained in the human body and is therefore, the form of vitamin E found in the largest quantities in the blood and tissue. Vitamin E, a fat-soluble vitamin, protects vitamin A and essential fatty acids from oxidation in the body cells and prevents breakdown of body tissues. Vitamin K This is needed for blood to properly clot, and for the liver to make blood clotting factors, including factor II (prothrombin), factor VII (proconvertin), factor IX (thromboplastin component), and factor X (Stuart factor). Other clotting factors that depend on vitamin K are protein C, protein S, and protein Z. Deficiency of vitamin K or disturbances of liver function (for example, severe liver failure) may lead to deficiencies of clotting factors and excess bleeding.

Phyto means “plant” in Greek and Phytonutrients are naturally occurring organic chemical compounds from plants. Research indicates Moringa Oleifera leaves contain the following phytonutrients: Flavonoids Flavonoids are shown to have the capacity to scavenge freeradicals, antioxidative activity, known to prevent coronary heart disease, and exhibit anticancer activity. Some flavonoids even exhibit potential for anti-human immunodeficiency virus functions. Anthraquinones Anthraquinones the main active constituents in herbs are a class of naturally occurring phenolic compounds. Frequently used to relieve constipation they act directly on the intestinal mucosa making the stool more liquid and easing bowel movements. Thus aiding gastrointestinal health in humans. Terpenoids Also referred to as terpenes, they play a role in traditional herbal remedies and are under investigation for antibacterial, antineoplastic, and other pharmaceutical functions. They display a wide range of biological activities against cancer, malaria, inflammation, and a variety of infectious diseases (viral and bacterial). Worldwide the sales of terpene-based pharmaceuticals in 2002 were approximately US $12 billion.

Page 19 Saponins Saponins are to be found in around 100 different plant families. Plants produce them to help resist microbial pathogen such as fungi and certain bacteria and viruses. Saponins have hemolytic, expectorative, anti-inflammatory and immune-stimulating activity. According to researchers of a review published in 2010 in the journal “Fitoterapia,” around 150 natural saponins have anti-cancer properties. Recent research by scientists in Canada and Africa suggests that Masai tribes people in East Africa who consume a diet very high in animal products, cholesterol, and saturated fat have very low serum cholesterol levels most likely due to the consumption of saponin-rich herbs.
