Global Internship Programm Incoming Exchange Global Internship Programme, Incoming Exchange, has been one of the pioneering programs of AIESEC in Chandigarh. With over 40 companies and 120 TNs to choose from, the professional experience provided has proven career shaping to all the interns who chose Chandigarh for it. The internship opportunities available are very diverse, and it ranges in the job roles of marketing, IT, business administration and education. The programme delivers more than 100 experiences in a year in which interns from over 20 countries participate and undergo a rigorous professional experience.

me Outgoing Exchange In the current grim job market dominated by the effects of a seemingly never-ending crisis, we are aware of students growing frustrated with all the unanswered internship emails and wondering how can they learn how to work and build a CV if no one allows them to start. By the virtue of Global Internship Program, we try to save students from a similar hysteria by offering them a diverse global platform to start from. As per the global demand, AIESEC in Chandigarh in 2013 has initiated with an exponential increase in the number of raises as compared to 2012, based on extensive in depth expectation setting and extensive mandatory evaluation which resulted in quality raising of intended applicants to emerge as strong and capable managers in the dynamic global environment. The similar focus on quality raising is going to be taken forward to the following quarters as well. High focus on building IR and generating innovative alternatives to the previously formed matching method through Product Packaging (EP templates and videos) , designing and using individualized newsletters and customize mailers for matching while National Cooperations are also being materialized for Q2 and Q3 to capitalize on high potential IR and accelerate the realisatons. We believe that notable initiatives as high quality internal Marketing pilot “Open Heart� in the upcoming internal marketing campaign along with Top Gun (Rewards and Recognition) will be helpful in driving a stronger department culture and increase the number of experiences delivered. One of the key areas where our major attention is being paid to is the endeavor to reduce the gestation period between raising and matching through highly motivated membership and TL's who have had a strong volunteering experience and inculcate the presence of a common line of thought in the portfolio. We are also looking forward to optimize the strong scope for Marketing-BD-oGIP synergy to raise Exchange Participants for the coming months and innovate on pioneering showcasing impact to have a direct conversion in exchange is the supposed way forward. We might have not have overcome the crisis yet, but if we are young and are looking up toad value to the lives in the city and the country, not all is lost really.
