นกฮูกดีไซน์ nokhookdesign อนุกูล เหมาลา Anukun Hamala เกิดและเติบโต เป็นคน เชียงใหม่ โดยกำ�เนิด จบการศึกษาจากสถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระ จอมเกล้าฯ เจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง คณะครุศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรม สาขาครุศาสตร์ สถาปัตยกรรม ทำ�งานผลิตนิตยสารมาตลอดระยะเวลา 7 ปี เคยประกวดงานเขียนและงานกราฟิกใน ประเทศ และได้รับรางวัล 2-3 ครั้ง เคยร่วมแสดงผลงานด้านกราฟิกในเชียงใหม่ และ กทม ปัจจุบันเปิดร้านขายเสื้อยืดและสินค้าทำ�มือชื่อนกฮูกดีไซน์ ใจกลางเมืองเชียงใหม่ Born as genuine Chiang Mai, Anukun graduated from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang in department of Architectural Education, Faculty of Industrial Education. He has worked with the magazines for 7 years and participated in many writing and graphic design contest in Thailand with few awards. Anukun has frequently joined graphic design exhibitions both in Chiang Mai and Bangkok. Today, he runs his own small business selling original design T-shirts and handmade products in Chiang Mai.

CONCEPT The concept of Nokhookdesign is to find a balance between traditional Lanna culture, cliched Lanna reproduced arts and culture, and a modern way of how to interpret traditional culture to fit with an alternative modern lifestyle. Although the products may not seem to be obviously Lanna in style as most people would be acquainted with, they carry with them a strong love of their roots reflected through a new style of art. One important principle they cling onto is, ‘culture should be able to change, develop and improve rather than being frozen, kept untouched and forgotten’.
