ACT GLD Brochure Release 1.1 May 2009

Performing The Act Right Performing The Right Act

ACT GLD Today, any area of human interaction is a performance space. For a simple reason that each such space is characterised by a human action which, technically speaking, is a ‘performance!’ The action performed in a space, therefore, determines the nature of the space - work spaces such as convention centres ... sporting arenas ... entertainment places such as cinemas ... audiotoria ... discotheques etc ... academia and learning centres ... highend business environments such as video-conferencing and telepresence ... all conduct their own performances. In order to perform the designated task in the desired manner, any space has to have two components right: design and material. Combining these two is, indeed, a great ‘act.’ More so, for spaces that factor high abuse resistence. Enacting this incredible combination, however, is the truly named ACT GLD. Brought to the industry through a joint initiative of Anutone India and Owens Corning USA, under the brand AnutoneSoft Respond, the ACT GLD panels respond to the requirement of any space, and perform their act right: Visually stunning aesthetics, by virtue of a n incredibly wide range of design choices, and aurally comfortable ambience by virtue of technology. Any interior space will now look special. For, it has its performing act just right, with ACT GLD.

Visual Variants - Fabric Colours ACT GLD fabrics bring a riot of bright colours for all types of architectural spaces and interior decors. Fabric is sourced from Interface Style 2100; 100 per cent recycled polyester; passes flammability tests as per ASTM E84 and NFPA-701. Design Options With an unbelievably broad range of modular ceilings, built spaces can practically sport a designer look, with a mix n match of different options for ceiling surfaces using ACT GLD. In essence, a given built space can sport different looks with - exposed plenum, large format, combinations (multi-product), layers (multi-levels), shapes n sizes (hexagon, octagon etc), curves, perforated and unperforated, and accented AnutoneSkelet. The possibilities are limited only by one’s imagination. Here are some design options ...

Colour AnutoneSkelet Breaking away from the limitation of white framework. Now, even the framework can match the vividity of the coloured panels to weave in a different aesthetic impact, complementing the overall ambience.

Celebration Clouds Imagine differently shaped clouds in the ceiling either installed individually or in a group to create dramatic effects to architectural spaces. Your designer creativity is the only limitation for Celebration Cloud series to transform architectural spaces into exquisite exhibits of interior splendour and maginficence.

ACT Wave ACT Wave GLD panels are suspended from the roof or ceiling above or from the structure near the noise source. Added advantage is that ACT Wave GLD being vertically installed, allow skylighting and visibility to beautiful roof structures. By being available in a range of bright colours they can brighten up dreary interiors and dramatically alter the looks of a place.

AnutoneShapes ACT AnutoneShapes GLD gives life to your imaginationby offering various shapes coming away from the regular squares or rectangles, circle and oval shapes can also be customised into the ceilings generating a strong aesthete statement for the designer and the client. ACT AnutoneShapes GLD can be used as single or grouped panels, each shaped, suspended as islands.

Carnival Floats Think islands in the sky and Carnival Ceiling Floats is the reality. Yes! Whether it is for initial design or an afterthought, Carnival Ceiling Floats with AnutoneSkelet Infinity is for all seasons. Creating light coves, ceiling clouds, floating islands, projected transitions and design accents with ACT GLD suspended on AnutoneSkelet T15 / O15 / U15 or a seamless finish with AnutoneSnazz is now so easy and simple thanks to the innovation of Carnival Ceiling Floats with AnutoneSkelet Infinity.
