The lion (Panthera leo) is a
species in the cat family (Felidae)
A muscular, deep-chested cat, it has a short, rounded head, a reduced neck and round ears, and a hairy tuft at the end of its tail. The lion typically inhabits grasslands and savannas, but is absent in dense forests. It is usually more diurnal than other big cats, but when persecuted adapts to being active at night and at twilight.

We poured fructose on the floor, forming the word “UNITY”, trying to attract ants through the aroma of the fructose. As simple as the idea might sound, it actually took us plenty of time as we had to observe the ants position and movement from morning to noon. The first obstacle was to make sure whether the word formed by fructose was clear enough, and then we had to avoid disrupting the ants movement so that they can communicate with each other the position of the fructose. At last, thousands of ants together formed the word “UNITY”. The result truly amazed us, as not a lot of people have witnessed a word formed by ants itself, thousands of ants!

Process At first we used “ Communication Arts typo 4” as our inspiration. We had discussed the choice of medium and word, and also tried to use multiple medium to design a single kind of font. After failures and obstacles, we gained a clearer direction on what kind of materials to use thanks to our teacher’s help. Finally, we decided to use “Ants” as our medium for the project.

此包裝的概念是以工具的正確使用方式 來取出。如 : 鐵鎚的用途是以敲擊物體
時的動作；板手的用途是以拴緊或轉開 螺帽時的動作；老虎鉗的用途是以剪斷 電線或扭轉鐵絲時的動作…等。

以手工具對應臺灣各種重要建設與產業之事件 的貢獻，將它們轉化為圖像附加在手工具的包 裝上，讓手工具成為一種載體，傳遞台灣刻苦 耐勞打拼的精神。
