2023 Legislative Updates

• FPTA Legislative Platform:

o Make changes to the Transportation Disadvantaged Program

o Add members to the CTD who have operational knowledge

o Allow individuals to be eligible for both ADA and TD services

o Allow more flexibility with the TDTF Grants, such as:

§ Pre-award authority, similar to FDOT and FTA.

§ Allow grant dollars to roll forward, similar to FDOT and FTA.

§ Require TDTF dollars be given as a block grant

o Create a program that will allow for recurring funding of alternatively fueled vehicle and infrastructure
