PNEM Sound Art Maashorst (PSAM) is a new initiative created by PNEM Soundartfestival. Sound art artists from around the world are presented during a walk in a specially marked route. The corresponding 'app' will show you how to follow the path through the woods. The route (also available on paper with a traditional map) is being distribuated in various visitor centers and tourist offices free of charge. In the next few years, the route will be extended over Maashorst Nature Reserve, which stretches across the northern municipalities in Brabant (Uden, Landerd, Bernheze and Oss, ± 3500 ha.). PNEM connects the works of Soundart with the infrastructure of de Maashorst. The area is covered with hiking and cycling trails, including the Slingerpad that starts at Vestzaktheater Naat Piek Uden, home of the annual PNEM Sound Art Festival. Besides a variety of natural sounds, with the app there is the option to listen to soundart.
