“Camp Dread” director B. Harrison Smith took a lighter turn to helm this 2021 holiday comedy about a girl who stumbles upon a Christmas caper involving a fleet of small robots that just might not be the innocent toys they seem. Sean Patrick Flanery, Michael Cervantes and Peter Cote head the cast.

“Movie: Christmas on Repeat”

From director Lindsay Hartley (“Mommy Is a Murderer”) comes this 2022 romancer that stars Jennifer Taylor (“Two and a Half Men”) as Andrea, an ambitious ad executive who realizes what she’s been missing when Santa grants her wish for a Christmas do-over. Roberta Hanlen, Julia Terranova and Emily Roslyn Villarreal also star.

“Gaslight” (1944) Lansbury earned an Oscar nomination for her screen debut as the new housekeeper to a woman (Ingrid Bergman) who starts to think she’s losing her mind, possibly because of her husband (Charles Boyer). The film is part of an all-day tribute to the late Lansbury that Turner Classic Movies will present Monday, Nov. 21.

“The Picture of Dorian Gray” (1945)

Lansbury plays a singer who becomes the wife of the eternally youthful title character (Hurd Hatfield). “The Court Jester” (1955) A princess (Lansbury) Is party to a carnival performer’s (Danny Kaye) effort to help reverse the overthrowing of a king.

“The World of Henry Orient” (1964)

Lansbury has find moments as the mother of one of two schoolgirls who develop a crush on a concert pianist (Peter Sellers). “Dear Heart” (1964) Lansbury is a standout as the maritally intended of a businessman (Glenn Ford) who has an eventful trip to New York.

“Bedknobs and Broomsticks” (1971)

With the help of cohorts of various ages, an aspiring witch (Lansbury) comes to the aid of England during World War II in this entertaining Disney blend of animation and live action. “Death on the Nile” (1978) Master sleuth Hercule Poirot (Peter Ustinov) spends an excursion to Egypt investigating suspects made up of an allstar cast, including Lansbury, in this version of the Agatha Christie mystery. “Beauty and the Beast” (1991) Lansbury found a new generation of fans – which will continue to be refreshed as time goes on – as the voice of Mrs. Potts in this animated Disney favorite.
