Dear fellow friends and valued colleagues, Three exciting and challenging years have flown by and it is time for elections again. I would like to put myself forward, once again, as a candidate for the position of Board Member for the Europe. Many of you know me quite well as I have been an active member of APG for over 10 years, having joined APG as a Country Member for Turkey in 2006. I was elected to be a member of the Board of Directors in 2010 and was appointed Vice President for Europe in 2012. Biography Graduated from Business Management in 1979 from Marmara University Married for 39 years Have 2 sons Work Experience Overall 29 Years of airline experience Started with 6-months working for TWA at Istanbul airport


7 years working for British Airways in different departments, including Reservations & Ticketing, Sales Support, Sales Executive and Key Account Manager roles Joined AiRep in 1996 as GSA Manager and profit partner Established APG Turkey with 2 partners in 2011 and have been running the company as its Director Currently representing 8 major airlines (Thai Airways, EL-AL, Kuwait Airways, United Airlines, Philippine Airlines, Vietnam Airlines, Xiamen Airlines, Avianca Brasil) 13 ABCS airlines, Emirates Holidays, Assist Card, Hertz, GTE hotel portal & 13 Luxury Cruise Lines An active Rotary member at Nisantasi Rotary Club for over 15 years. Will be President of the Club for the 2018-2019 period. Working as a volunteer at Payda Charity supporting educational projects for disadvantaged girls aged 9-21 years www.paydaplatformu.org Working at Sky Team Group in Turkey on behalf of Vietnam Airlines.

Accomplishments for APG APG TURKEY GENERATED BUSINESS NEARLY USD1 .000.000 IN 2015 FOR THE ENTIRE NETWORK. TURKISH AIRLINES WHO IS THE BIGGEST SELLER IN IE T HAS ALREADY SIGNED CONTRACT WITH APG AIRLINES. ONUR A IR IS THE FIRST ACTIVATED AIRLINE UNDER IET GP CODE.

As Contracting partner -- ABCS for 25 countries GSSA 16 countries IET Turkish Airlines, Atlas Global, Onur Air and 2 other airlines under negotiation.

Participated actively in all of the "in person" board meetings, as well as the "phone call" board meetings. Built up warm relationships with all APG members, listening and understanding their needs and views on the various issues. Contributed to all board topics based on my experiences -- either sending my comments by mail or sharing my thoughts during the meetings. Bringing business to APG members -- both to the European Members and the Network. Sending yearly targets to European members and giving them updates on their performances 3-4 times a year by sending individual e-mails. One-on-one discussions with European members during the meetings or over the phone or on Skype as to how they can develop their business further and sharing my leads. Regular weekly Skype calls with BDD to exchange information and discuss leads from Turkey and from other members in Europe. Visiting European members at their offices as much as I could. Investigating & proposing new members to the Board. Participating in the preparation of European trainings with members of local offices and CMM/Audit Managers and BDD. Keeping the board informed and updated on new business developments, opportunities and competitor information.


Motivating European members to invite guests from airline executives to World Connect Conferences by sending them individual mails.

What is next: APG Family -- Who can neglect their family? Our families are very precious to us. We do our best for our families, we always want the best for them. We always think of them. APG is the same. We are a big family and the closer we work, the stronger we can become. For my part, I will continue to do my utmost to support building up this wonderful, big family! When each of us thinks of the others in the extended APG family, I believe this will reflect on our business. Innovation -- working on a simple, practical, joint reservation system while using different CRS system at our individual offices.
