In early 2000, Mr. Gaurav Bhatia joined Bird Group his family business with an aim & vision to expand it to new horizons. Currently, he is Executive Director of Bird Group. Bird Group is India’s fastest growing business conglomerate with interests in travel technology, aviation services, hospitality, luxury retail and education. Founded in 1971 and with 40 + years of experience we are recognised as pioneers of industry in India. Today, Bird group, has 45 plus fully automated offices in India. Under the leadership of Mr. Gaurav Bhatia, Our Flagship Company Bird Travels have become most preferred airline management company and travel service providers in the country and has a proven track record of consistently meeting all sales and marketing commitments. Today, as a GSA partner we are successfully representing some of the world’s best airline brands in India. The airlines we represent under APG umbrella are Royal Air Morac, Taag Angola, FlyNas, and Air Europa. We have also been awarded the best performer for IET sales last year 2016. We also do Fare Filing Services for APG using the proprietary FAREMANAGER software; APG network in our New Delhi Office electronically uploads the international airfares for client airlines to ATPCO. We have appointed a dedicated staff / team for giving these services to APG clients.

After completing his graduation, Gaurav identified the need of the untouched sector of Ground Handling and have formed India’s largest ground handling company which is present in major airports in India such as Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa, Ahmedabad, Cochin, Gaya & Chennai.
Our Airport Lounges are one of the areas where we can see Mr. Bhatia’s endeavour to provide luxury, style and comfort for Indian & International Traveller. Above Ground Level was designed & conceptualised by Mr. Bhatia, where vibrant, splashy colors are used in never-before-seen combinations. Our Lounges are contemporary, edgy with all modern facilities to provide utmost comfort to passengers. Today our lounges at Delhi & Bengaluru airport are most preferred lounges by International airlines & frequent flier. With Mr. Gaurav Bhatia’s focused approach to provide world class facilities in aviation, our group was successful in collaboration with Execujet Aviation Group and won international competitive bid to provide country's first fixed-based operation (FBO) and MRO facilities at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. We will be building new FBO facility of 6000 sqm and MRO facility of 6500 sqm within 2 years from now.
