BIOGRAPHY Cars are one of my first memories. Since I was a little child my mother used to take my brother and me to see rallies, as my father and my uncle Joan were participating. Engines have always been present at home, so the first karts came very soon and, as every child, we loved driving them and we would spend all the weekends in the nearby kart circuit, Karting Vendrell. What started out as a hobby, turned gradually into a passion and we soon began participating in some championships with the complete support of the whole family. After winning 2 Spanish Karting championships, my next goal was throwing myself into Formula racing, but the lack of financial support kept me out of the competition during some years. Nevertheless, thanks to the programme JOVEN PROMESA, which was organised by Renault in Catalonia, I could start competing again after surpassing a selection of more than 300 applicants and so, in 2003, I would win my first national touring car championship, the Spanish Renault Clio Cup. In 2004 I registered myself in the Spanish Seat León Supercopa and, after a first season of learning, I achieved, for the following two years, the champion title and after that, three consecutive runners-up. Due to the multiple victories during those years, SEAT SPORT rewarded me by letting me participate in two events of the 2007’s World Touring Car Championship.

In 2008, I won the prestigious Seat León Eurocup, which let me take part in the European Touring Car Championship of that same year, where I got to win one of the rounds and reached the silver. My time with this vehicle continued during 2 more seasons, participating once again in the Spanish Seat León Supercopa. Both seasons, in which I achieved the second place, were closely contested up to the last race. In 2011 I returned to the Renault Clio Cup competition, where I’ve combined Spanish, Italian and European championships and I’ve reached several times the first position. It has been thanks to these achievements – as the ones reached last year, 2014, when I became the champion of both Italy and Europe – that this year, 2015, I’m competing at the TCR International Series as a development driver in one of the contestant teams. However, this year must be, for sure, the one that lets me live my big dream of being again on the starting grid of the WTCC the next 2016, and prove that my desire to win remains intact.
