With dark blue, make a double magic ring and Dc 10 into it. Do not join. Fasten off. Work the rest of the feather loosely so that it lays flat and doesn't curl up. Hold the piece with the semicircle part up and the flat part down like in the picture. Then attach the yellow with a slip st to the 3rd st from the right.

Hdc and dc in next st. 2 tr in next st. 3 dtr in next st. 2 tr in next st. Dc and hdc in next st. Sl St in next. Fasten off.


Yank the top of the yellow section to flatten out the piece. Attach light blue 1 St to the right of where you attached the yellow.

Sc in same st. Sc in the yellow Sl St. Sc in next 4 yellow sts. 3 Sc in next st. Sc in next 6 sts. 3 Sc in corner blue st. 3 dc in center of dark blue magic circle 3 Sc in next corner blue st. Join with a Sl St to beg light blue sc. Fasten off.


Join green in Sl st you made when you fastened off the light blue.

Sc in same st. Sc in next 6 sc. 2 sc in next st. 3 sc in next st. 2 sc in next st. Sc in next 7 sc. 3 sc in next st. Sc 6 tog. Ch 1. 3 sc in next st. Join to first sc with Sl st.

Pull ends tight and sew them in.

To make a tail, stagger the feathers in the desired shape and sew them together. Enjoy!
