Young Authors Short Story Contest Grades 3 - 8 Tuesday (11/1) - Wednesday (11/30) Aspiring young writers are invited to submit short stories to be judged by a panel of APLD librarians for creativity, style, and voice. CHILDREN ENCANTO! Movie and a Craft Ages 5 - 12 Saturday (11/12) 1 p.m. West Branch - Meeting Room Come enjoy the movie Encanto and a fun craft. Family Dinner Book Club* Sunday (11/13) 3 p.m. Santori Library - Storytime Room Gather with your children to share a snack, a book, and an activity all centered around a common theme. We encourage families to bring non-perishable foods to donate to the Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry and the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry. Express Yourself: Shrinking Art Grades 3 - 5 Tuesday (11/15) 6:30 p.m. Santori Library - Storytime Room Draw a masterpiece and watch it shrink! Shrunken art will be used to decorate magnets, keychains, and more. Rock Painting Ages 6 - 11 Wednesday (11/16) 4 p.m. West Branch - Meeting Room Express your creativity by painting a rock- then keep, share, or hide it! All materials will be provided.
