Traveling Off the Beaten Path* Ages 6-11 Friday (8/5) A family take home kit featuring places to visit in the United States. Kit will include facts, activities, recipes, and a craft. 1 kit per family. Santori Sprouts* Grades 2 - 5 Saturday (8/6) & Saturday (8/20) 10:30 a.m. Santori Library - Kiwanis Children's Center Develop basic gardening skills through hands-on activities. Learn to plant, care for and harvest their crops. Families are welcome. Dream Scribers Debut Saturday (8/6) 1 p.m. Santori Library - 125/126 Young writers who have completed a 12-week Dream Scriber’s program will share readings from their books. Dream Scribers is a program through Talented Tenth Social Services, a non-profit organization in Aurora. Light snacks & beverages will be served. Ready, Set, Kindergarten* Children Entering Kindergarten in Fall '22 Monday (8/8) - Thursday (8/11) 10 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Santori Library - Hurrell Storytime Room Children will review basic kindergarten skills. Stories, crafts, and songs are included! Children can attend one or all four sessions. Nature Bingo Monday (8/8) 11 a.m. & Tuesday (8/9) 2 p.m. Santori Library - 125/126 A drop in Bingo program open to all families with children. Play once or over and over! Yoga Storytime and Movement for Toddlers Children ages 18 months - 3 years with a caregiver Saturday (8/13) 10 a.m. Eola Road Branch - Large Meeting Room Child and caregiver will learn basic yoga moves and how to regulate emotions using the alphabet and animal characters. This is a ticketed event, and tickets will be available at the children's desk 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Kids Art Series* Ages 7 -12 Saturday (8/13) 10:30 a.m. Santori Library - 125/126 Join us for some interesting art projects and show off your creativity making popsicle stick crafts.

CHILDREN Early Readers Book Club* Grades K - 2 Saturday (8/13) 2 p.m. Eola Road Branch - Children's Program Room Read about your favorite characters! Engage in exciting activities! August's title is See the Cat: Three Stories About a Dog. This program does not teach children how to read. Read to a Stuffed Animal Tuesday (8/16) 1 - 3 p.m. Santori Library - Hurrell Storytime Room Brush up on your reading skills before school starts. Each child who reads for 10 minutes receives a stuffed animal. Stroller Fitness* Thursday (8/18) 9:30 a.m. Eola Road Branch - Large Meeting Room We're partnering with Fit4Mom Oswego to bring you free workouts, comprised of strength training, cardio, and core restoration- all while entertaining the little ones with songs, activities, and fun! Stargazing: View the Night Sky* Ages 5 & Up Saturday (8/20) Virtual via YouTube Register for a kit that has all the supplies you need to make a constellation viewer and star wheel. Kits available for pick up at the Santori Library's KCC desk! Pre-recorded videos by Fermilab scientists accompany the kit.
