APL Window Solutions owns and controls key steps in the supply process, from aluminium extruding, to surface finishing, to specialised manufacturing and nationwide distribution. In addition, APL continually invests in leading-edge products and processes.

APL brings scale to the business. It has New Zealand’s largest extrusion plant, as well as inhouse powdercoating and anodising facilities and a manufacturing subsidiary for specialised aluminium work. At the end of the chain, the company distribution fleet makes sure that aluminium profiles arrive at manufacturers in the best possible condition.

APL’s research, development and testing facility ensures that window systems are designed and tested to conform to the toughest standards. The NZIA-awardwinning building features two facade testing facilities - a 4000mm x 4000mm residential rig and a ‘state-of-theart’ 9000mm x 6000mm commercial booth.
