The development of a grated-permeable skin was inspired by the site’s heavy industrial background. The blurring of movement and activity behind an object of such stoic integrity was a defining identity of the site and the urban high-rise. A facade that is never more than 50% opaque, lends legability to the systems reacting within. Rather than a skin that completely dictates the view, there exists a unique interplay between Structure, Form, Aperature, and Facade.
