What could be more demanding than supplying lighting for private residences? This, is a place of rest, of romance, of closeness and kinship. A place of comfort after a full day's work. We've done countless private residences, in Indonesia and abroad And doing private residences means a great deal of custom tailoring. The requirements for average illuminance; correlated color temperatures; levels of contrast have been varied from one project to the next. One word that best describe any hotel lighting project: "Benchmark " No matter the budget, a hotel project attempts to provide a home away from home experience. And at every stage, the designers are expected to provide a benchmark of that experience. Areas like the lobby and the ballrooms need special attention due to their sheer sizes. The design of rooms are almost copied one to the other; but each are designed to be the end point of the customers' experience. The exteriors must provide some distinguishable characters; so that its image is easily recalled. Quite often, some ethnic or cultural aspects need to be incorporated to the design

Lighting design for apartments and condominiums are usually focused at the lobby and public areas Unless the units are sold as furnished, the expectation is that the buyers will want to renovate and therefore change the lighting of their purchased units. Because of this, supplying for apartment projects require product range that can fulfill different pricing segments.

Commercial building projects require products that are hassle free in terms of maintenance. Due to the fact that most maintenance can only be done after its working hours; and also how some of the areas may include very high ceilings; maintenance presents an unnecessary burden to the building management Because of that, many of these projects will require high powered lighting products (for their high ceilings) that also provide long lifetimes and warranties. LED's are a perfect fit for these requirements; but choosing the right ones can be tricky. This is especially so because LED qualities can be vastly different Although LEDs do not emit much heat, they are very sensitive to heat and the slightest increase in its junction temperatures can be detrimental to their lifetimes.

Similar to F&B projects, retail chains are often situated at prestigious sites with expensive rents. They also (perhaps all the more) need to be extremely attractive so as to attract consumer walk ins But these projects also need to be designed according to their business strategies, and lighting is one of the most important factor to increasing sales. As an example, different types of fashion stores will require very different lighting atmospheres. Boutiques that are aimed to sell few but exquisite items will need stores with a very high level of contrast (30:1). This means that the display counters need to be at least 30 times brighter than the other areas so as to capture visual attention Stores that try to sell many SKUs, however, should not have such high contrast, because they need the eyes to roam more freely.
