We take a different approach and can also provide a nighttime caregiver who provides supplemental assistance, allows your primary caregiver to get the rest they need, and is still more economical than an hourly team. It also creates a safe, calming environment with no shift changes during the day.

I suspect one of the reasons is that we all learned how to dig a little deeper to make ends meet. We all had to figure out new and creative ways to meet our customers where they are, engage with our staff, and work efficiently to deal with supply chain interruptions and limited resources.

Perhaps one challenge that proved particularly difficult was continuing to deliver a level and quality of product/service that our customers had come to expect in a business environment where that was sometimes near impossible. This meant that we witnessed businesses reinvent themselves on the fly. I suspect that for many of them, they made structural changes to their businesses they’d been putting off for years but were now essential to staying open. We learned what had to get done immediately, and what could wait another day.

We retained many of those lessons learned, even when we no longer needed to use them, and for that I believe our business community is stronger and better.

It is certainly more resilient.

Now, onto the results. After 33,000 votes were cast in this year’s contest, we are thrilled to present the winners in this year’s Best of Perimeter magazine.

To our winners, take pride in this great accomplishment. There is no higher praise than willingness of a customer to go online and cast a vote to hopefully help you win your category. What type of car insurance is important from a Personal Injury Attorney’s perspective

I love being part of the Dunwoody community and helping those injured by someone else’s negligence or recklessness. This year, I wanted to highlight how you can protect yourself before you are injured in a wreck by explaining two key types of insurance you need. Oftentimes, people shop for car insurance based on the price rather than on the type of protection provided. We have cases where someone is severely injured, but the other driver has a “minimum limits” policy which does not even cover a fraction of the medical bills.

Here are two types of insurance that you need to protect yourself if someone else injures you in a wreck:

(1) Underinsured Motorist (“UM” or “UIM”) Coverage. This is insurance that protects you if the atfault driver doesn’t have insurance or doesn’t have enough insurance.

There are two types of UM insurance: “Add-On” and “ReducedBy.” You always want to have “AddOn” insurance coverage because it goes on top of the at-fault driver’s insurance. I recommend that your UM coverage match your liability coverage, which is the insurance that protects you if you cause a wreck.

(2) Medical Payment Coverage (“Med-Pay”). This is insurance that covers medical bills if you are injured in a car wreck. If you have health insurance, this can be used to cover your co-pays, deductible, and coinsurance. I recommend that you have at least $10,000 in Med-Pay coverage.

Dunwoody Animal Medical Center is honored to be voted this year’s winner of Best Veterinarian for the third year in a row! This honor means even more since we have been voted Best Veterinarian in what may have been the 3 most difficult years that we have operated as a veterinary hospital. COVID brought challenges to veterinary medicine that continue to this day. Staffing and supply chain issues are only two of the challenges we face as we strive to provide excellent patient and client care to our growing community.

Corporate consolidation of independent veterinary hospitals has been a huge issue for several years. We are the oldest independently owned veterinary hospital in Dunwoody and are proud of our thirty-three years of service. We feel that remaining independent allows us the freedom and flexibility to quickly adapt and change in order to best fulfill our mission: To take care of our clients by taking care of

their pets. Whether we need to alter procedures, introduce new products, purchase new equipment, or switch suppliers in order to provide our best care, we are able to do so quickly and seamlessly without outside restrictions or approvals. Admittedly, it does at times feel like George Bailey living in the world of Mr. Potters, but we feel that remaining independent will give the community options for veterinary care.

Dunwoody Animal Medical Center was founded in 1990 with the idea of becoming a member of and contributor to the Dunwoody community. Instead of Yellow Page ads (please Google that if you under a certain age!) we chose to use those dollars for support of local schools, community events, and local charities. We are still committed to that philosophy of giving back to our community and wish to remain a personal practice where we know our clients and their pets.

As we have grown, we have added to our veterinary provider staff. While this allows us to better serve our clients and patients, we

do not wish to become a hospital where clients feel they can never see the same doctor. Even as we grow and continue to add staff, we will work hard to make sure that you can have your doctor choice preferences fulfilled as often as possible. We want our clients to always feel free to request the doctor of their choice. Today, Dunwoody Animal Medical Center would like to thank
